9Gaze does not collect, transmit, or store any data about you or anyone else. Everything stays on your device.
01 Overview
9Gaze is a photo composition tool that helps you arrange images into a 3×3 grid with automatic face-based positioning. This privacy policy explains how the app handles data. The short version: it does not handle your data at all beyond what is necessary to run on your device.
02 Data we do not collect
9Gaze does not collect, record, upload, or share any of the following:
- Photos or images you use within the app
- Personal information of any kind
- Device identifiers or usage analytics
- Location data
- Any other data generated while using the app
03 All data stays on your device
All photos, composed grids, and any output files produced by 9Gaze are stored exclusively on your device's local storage. No data is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party operated by the developer or anyone else.
The app functions entirely offline. An internet connection is not required to use any feature of 9Gaze.
04 Permissions used by the app
9Gaze requests the following Android permissions solely to provide its photo composition functionality:
- Camera — to capture photos directly within the app if you choose to use that feature. Photos taken are stored on your device only.
- Storage / media access — to read images from your device gallery and to save composed grid images to your device.
These permissions are used only for their stated purpose. No data accessed through these permissions is transmitted off your device.
05 On-device processing
The automatic face positioning feature uses on-device machine learning (Google ML Kit) to detect facial features in photos. This processing happens entirely on your device. No images or facial data are sent to Google or any other party for this purpose.
06 Third-party services
9Gaze does not integrate any advertising networks, analytics platforms, crash reporting services, or other third-party data collection services.
06a Platform-level data collection by Google
9Gaze is distributed through the Google Play Store. As part of the Android platform and Play Store infrastructure, Google may automatically collect certain technical and diagnostic data from your device, such as app crash reports, performance metrics, and install events. This data is collected by Google under their own privacy policy and is not accessible to the 9Gaze developer in identifiable form. The developer receives only anonymised, aggregated summaries through the Google Play Console dashboard.

07 Data storage and liability
Because 9Gaze does not store, manage, or have access to any data on your device, the developer accepts no responsibility for:
- The content of any images or files used within the app
- Data loss resulting from app uninstallation, device failure, factory reset, or any other cause
- Any liabilities arising from the storage, use, or disclosure of images by the user
9Gaze is a tool for organizing and repositioning images that are captured and managed by the user. All responsibility for the images, their content, their storage, and their use rests with the user.
08 Children's privacy
9Gaze is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children. Because the app collects no information from any user, no special provisions apply.
09 Changes to this policy
If this privacy policy changes in the future, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
